Beyoncé said she is done with movies! Her mama, Tina, broke it all down as we look back at some of Queen Bey’s iconic roles. It’s been more than 10 years since we have seen Beyoncé onscreen, and her mom Tina Knowles shared a clip of her as Etta James and captioned:
“This is still one of my favorite movies, and it makes me miss the fact that my child decided not to continue with movies.”
Before saying goodbye, Beyoncé starred in films like ‘Carmen: A Hip Hopera,’ ‘Austin Powers in Goldmember,’ the Oscar-winning ‘Dreamgirls’ and a few more cult classics. She has continued in voiceover work for 2019’s ‘Lion King’ and 2024’s ‘Mufasa’ in which she was joined by her daughter Blue Ivy and heads to streaming on March 26.
